The Active Life Seat Car Seat Cushion gives you just enough support to completely change the feel of your car seat. Not a simple fat wedge cushion - it fits the shape of a car seat and creates a flat surface. The base is 1.5" of FIRM flexible closed cell foam under your butt, topped with 1" of firm open cell foam for breathability and comfort. Fills the bucket seat area, straightens out your lower back and knees, lets you sit all the way back so you can use your seat's lumbar support. Tapers on the bottom to a thin front edge that doesn't press on the thighs. Stays in place, does not interfere with seat belts.
Designed to protect the piriformis muscle from bad bucket seats, good for anyone that needs firm support. We have been getting good reports from total hip replacement patients who need firm support when driving.
